CNG (Compressed Natural Gas)
What is CNG ?
CNG is also called compressed natural gas, it is an eco-friendly replacement to gasoline. It is made by compressing the natural gas (methane) drop down to less than 1% of its volume, CNG fuel is very safer than gasoline and diesel as it is not toxic and does not pollute or contaminate groundwater. CNG or Compressed Natural Gas is considered to be a cleaner gas because it causes less pollution as compared to other fuels like petrol or diesel. It exhausts a lesser amount of nitrogen dioxide, carbon dioxide, and Sulphur dioxide while burning as compared to other fuels CNG is widely used in Auto rickshaws, Cars & Buses. For use in Automobiles as fuel, it is compressed to a pressure of 200-250 bar to enhance the vehicle onboard storage capacity. CNG or Compressed Natural Gas is a fossil fuel substitute for petrol, diesel.
CNG Conversion kit
A CNG conversion kit alters a vehicle with a conventional gasoline or diesel internal combustion engine to run on compressed natural gas — a less expensive and more environmentally clean alternative to traditional gasoline and diesel. Vehicles may be modified to run manually; exclusively on CNG (dedicated CNG vehicles), or they may automatically switch back and forth between CNG and gasoline or diesel (bi-fuel vehicles). Bi-fuel vehicles incorporate two separate fuel tanks — one for gasoline or diesel fuel and another for CNG — and their engines may utilize either of these fuel types at one time CNG is not only the most environment-friendly fuel; it also gels with any kind of motor vehicle too. CNG kit can be installed on any four-wheelers.
